Fall Beauty by Guest Poet Alex Penz

leafless trees
little rustles of wind
bells from nearby cities
cold wind
rustling through our clothes

  1. Love this. Feels chilly, very fall. Love the idea of bells from nearby cities. Goes great with the pic! Thanks for sharing.

  2. Julie Ann Thomason, Scottish author of one of my favourite modern fairy tales, Shoeless Cinderella and the Paparazzi, mentioned that Alex's poem "captures the essence of the season, makes me feel chilly. Stylish imagery." I'm posting for her because there was a computer glitch in her comments going up.

  3. Writer Carla Evans mentioned that the poem has, "Lovely images, especially on a day when the weather keeps us in!"

  4. This is a delightful poem that captures the way this season feels. I especially love the line "little rustles of wind" and the use of the word bells. I look forward to seeing your next poem.

  5. I love the way you put us in the picture. I was there with you in this scene as the sound of the bells and the cold wind were there! Keep writing!!
